I completely agree 100%+ in the importance of building empathy in kids, when they’re young, empowering them to better connect and succeed in a meaningful life. It shouldn’t be a surprise, but I suppose it is for the new generations who don’t have family or opportunities to grow up with nature.

I was very lucky in my early years, growing up with a dad who loved all things farm life. I helped to raise fowls, from egg to adults to being food on our table, I learned to respect and appreciate. It’s why in my teens I fell in love with being an active observer of all creatures, becoming a hobby naturalist, learning to understand and share, which led to photo documenting them to aid my efforts. This empathy developed my design mindset, that of #designthinking, and having the ability to solve any problems.
