I‘m passionate about creating meaningful experiences for people through the products and services they interact with.
As a veteran designer with 25+ years of experience, service design thinking is at the core of my design practice. Design Thinking cultivates deeper insights for understanding, facilitates solutions that provide better sustainable, usable, efficient, and desirable experiences for all users. It supports collaborative leadership and empathy, which we all need more of. Using a service design lens, I’m able to better defining the root causes to exposing new opportunities which address the needs and goals of the business and the end customers.
Engage. Inspire. Empower.
Being a 30+ years Vancouverite, originally hailing from Ontario and cities abroad, my life’s mission is to engage, inspire, and empower others where I reside, to engage and to give back, to help increase human connection and advocate personal/professional growth.
Currently, I dedicate time to help cultivate Vancouver’s professional design community with focus in the design thinking/service design front. I host a collaborative design thinking community, facilitate annual global design workshops, and offer mentorship to those who seek one-on-one support and guidance.
My personal hobbies feed my life mission… I’m an outdoor enthusiast and steward, I love traveling abroad to learn about other cultures through food, and love to share the visual experience through photography. These allow me to continuously be curious, gain perspectives and practice mindfulness, and provide stories of experiences that I can share with others.
I look forward to connecting with you and undercover ways that I might be of service to you.
